The Latvian Railway History Museum has accumulated a vast scientific archive and library where you can find answers to various questions about railway history. The archive and library have been organised by subjects and railway lines. If you have any questions, want to verify certain dates, check information or find out what is depicted in a photograph, visit the museum by making an appointment at least a week prior by phone +371 67232511 or via e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Archive materials may be used only at the museum. For work purposes, you are allowed to take notes and photographs without flash. You can order copies of certain materials and photographs in accordance with the museum’s price list. On your first visit, you will have to present your personal identity document and register, specifying your subject of interest and the purposes of your work.
